I Hope You Had Fun...

I do hope you had a lovely Christmas...
and you created lots of new happy memories...

We were lucky to have all three of our daughters staying with us this year and the granddaughters too.

It was a bit of a cooking marathon...
But it all went down well.

I received some beautiful handmade treasures...

Thank you Bee! :)

Thank you Helen :)
A gift from my friend Debbie.
And two gorgeous ceramic pieces by Claire Baker - one from my eldest daughter and the other from my Mum and Dad.
Back to work now and I'll be making some big changes to my website, now that I am shop-less! Looking forward to taking some time to make important decisions and to think about what's next...

Wishing you a Happy New Year's Eve tomorrow,

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

Hope you are happy and relaxed, with Christmas just around the corner now...
(Updated 23rd December 14)
I've been finishing-off a few last minute tasks before the big day. I found this old Christmas decoration in our attic, which I had forgotten about. It is made from moss and over the years has faded...
I decided to paint it white and whilst the paint was still wet, I simply sprinkled it with glitter.

It now sits above my folk-art Santa that I made many years ago.

I've been making fairies as gifts for friends...

And homemade chutneys as gifts too.
Parcels are wrapped...

And we've been making mince pies and other treats

We've had a little help along the way...
A special 'baby's first Christmas' for granddaughter number two :)
The tree is trimmed.

And the house has been dressed for the season.

So all that is left is to wish you a very Merry Christmas from our home to yours -
Hope you have a wonderful time,
Niki x
